Dr. Clarke's areas of interest reach across the fields of natural resource management, behavioral ecology and demography, with particular emphasis on the ecology of dispersal. Her work in dispersal includes examining patterns of avian dispersal, as well as the ecology of human dispersal. She is also interested in issues relating to urban ecology including "carrying capacity" issues and the biology / management of feral and stray cat populations and their potential influence on native wildlife.
